At GSB, the personal involvement of all parents in their children's education is valued. All parents of GSB students are members of the Parents' Association.
GSB Parents' Association Mission Statement
The Gill St. Bernard’s Parents’ Association is dedicated to enhancing the Gill St. Bernard’s experience for all parents, to fostering goodwill and friendship through community building opportunities, and to supporting school programs through fundraising events.
Valuable Support
Through the gifts of volunteer time and financial resources, the Parents' Association provides invaluable support for the school and helps promote GSB's distinctive community spirit. This involvement gives GSB parents a better understanding of the school, the community, and provides an avenue to get to know other parents, teachers, and staff.
Meetings
All parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend open meetings on campus with the dates and locations to be announced and shared in the weekly newsletter. Meetings will include updates from the Head of School and upcoming event committee plans.

Support Our Events and Efforts
The Parents’ Association strongly encourages all GSB parents to attend and support our events and efforts. We welcome new volunteers! If you would like more information on the various volunteer opportunities or would like to work on an event or committee, please complete the online volunteer form.
Learn about the PA
Being involved helps me reinforce to my children that their school, service, and community are important to our family. Spending time helping out in smaller groups has allowed me to build friendships more quickly than I might have otherwise. It is also a very simple way to meet parents across the three divisions who can offer advice about the upcoming years!
I came to GSB two years ago as the parent of an incoming Upper School student. Everything "clicked" when I began getting involved with the Parents' Association, and I quickly experienced first-hand what a fun, smart, and caring community this truly is. I feel that being involved is the key to getting to know this community well, and you will get as much out of it as you give.
