Chess Yes! Summer Fun Club!

Program Info

Instructor: Marty Sobin, Founder of Jersey Chess

Have loads of fun learning to play the centuries old game of chess and try to become our summer Chess Champion! Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate-level player, this is where you can get your game on. If you don’t know the rules of the game, we will teach you; if you already know how to play, we will make you a better player. Get a quick overview of how to win a chess match—not just checkmating your opponent but how to get that point.

In addition to short training discussions and working on chess puzzles and worksheets, players will have lots of opportunity to play chess. The best way to improve your chess is to play lots of games and then go over them—do it at the “Chess Yes! Summer Fun Club!”
