Recently, 5th through 8th Grade students took center stage in the PACC for the annual Middle School Spring Choir Concert, You’ve Got a Friend at GSB — an evening filled with energy, heart, and memorable music.
Under the direction of GSB Middle School Choral Director Beth Arentsen, 64 student performers stepped onto the Matthews Theater stage on April 28, 2026, to present a dynamic and uplifting choral program. The concert featured everything from pop favorites to a special Carole King medley and selections from around the world, all tied together by themes of friendship, growth, and new beginnings. The evening also marked the second year of the faculty and staff choir joining students on stage, adding to the spirit of community and celebration.
Reflecting on the performance, Arentsen shared, “I am so proud of the Middle School Choirs. I loved watching each singer connect with the music, bringing so much enthusiasm and joy to the audience.”
