This past Halloween was quite a trick for all three divisions. Remotely learning seasonal poems, hearing stories, and making crafts related to the day, did not keep the students and faculty members from dressing up in traditional and creative costumes on Friday. Many virtual classes welcomed princesses, pirates, witches, dinosaurs, zombies, cats, and some famous athletes into their online classes. In addition to costumes, many students chose unique themed background screens for the day, including Halloween traditional pumpkins, bats, and skeletons.
In-person learning returned for the Lower School on Monday, which allowed students the chance to wear their costumes one more time and enjoy a late GSB traditional Halloween parade around the flag pole, along with Head of School Sid Rowell and Lower and Middle School Director Kyle Armstrong.
