The GSB Players Captivate Audience in Camelot Performance (Photo Gallery)

This past weekend, Gill St. Bernard's theater department hosted four incredible performances as The GSB Players presented their 2022 Spring Musical production, Camelot.

The show chronicled the fabled tale of an idealistic young King Arthur hoping to create a kingdom built on honor and dignity, embodied by his Knights of The Round Table. His ideals, however, are tested when his queen, Guenevere, falls in love with the young Knight, Lancelot, and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance.

The production marked the final performance for eight GSB seniors: Robbie DeVergillo, Kira Donegan, Nicholas Guth, Regan Macak, Lilly Micera, Emma Ryan, Alex Sepe, and Isha Vemuri. While the Theater Department is saddened to say farewell to the Class of 2022, they do so knowing the lasting mark they've left on the program.

"It's always a bittersweet moment when we look at our seniors in the musical," said Performing Arts Teacher, Margery Schiesswohl. "All eight seniors — four of whom have been on our musical stage for four years —have been dedicated to the excellence that has always been a hallmark of our program. From trolley cars to magical spectacles, to Noah's ark, to Excalibur, we couldn't have done it without them. They all will be greatly missed."

The full list of Camelot cast and crew members includes Karlita Cadena '24, Austin Carey '23, Jake Cohen '23, Caroline D'Arcangelis '24, Robbie DeVergillo '22, Kira Donegan '22, Nicholas Guth '22, Kate Horton '25, Regan Macak '22, Alia Messina '23, Lilly Micera '22, Cameron Miller '25, Harry Pambianchi '25, Aroosh Patel '25, Elsa Racine '25, Addison Rodriguez '25, Emma Ryan '22, James Schadt '23, Alex Sepe '22, Philip Vayntrub '23, Isha Vemuri '22, Alexa Woodard '24, and Mary Young '25.
