Lance Hollingshead '24 Wins Third Career SCT Golf Title
On a sun-soaked afternoon at Neshanic Valley Golf Course, Lance Hollingshead '24 etched his name into the GSB athletic record books, capturing his third Somerset County Golf Championship in his illustrious Gill career.
Hollingshead, a GSB Lifer who will continue his career at the University of Notre Dame next fall, shot a three-under-par to win his second consecutive title. Hollingshead also won the county tournament as a freshman in 2021 while falling in a playoff loss as a sophomore.
“When I am done, I am going to be able to look back at this and see how special it was,” Hollingshead commented in an interview with NJ.com.
