GSB Students Present 2023 Early Childhood Spring Concert

This week, preschool, prekindergarten, and kindergarten students premiered their 2023 Early Childhood Spring Concert, "Magical, Musical Me!".

Family members flocked to Evans Hall on Wednesday, April 27 to watch 36 students perform a series of songs about the body, how to use their own bodies as an instrument, and what it means to be a happy, healthy human. Whether they were singing Head and Shoulders, Your Face, Put Your Finger in the Air, Dem Bones, or Mi Cuerpo, our youngest learners used every inch of their musical talent to the delight of family and friends.

This event marked a very special milestone as Early Childhood Music Teacher Jill Fedon conducted her 50th GSB concert. After the performance, Mrs. Fedon was recognized for her leadership and tireless efforts by Lower School Director Kyle Armstrong, as well as her son Ben '27 who presented her flowers in a truly heartwarming moment.

A special thanks to Mrs. Fedon, Accompanist Dr. Jennifer Branch, Coordinator of Instructional and Visual Technology Joe DeVico, and all of our Early Childhood teachers and families for a wonderful performance. Please enjoy the photo gallery below!
