With the school year winding down, the GSB Parents’ Association welcomed families on campus to commemorate an amazing year of events, service, and community at the PA Year-End Celebration Breakfast.
In this annual event, GSB families gathered in the serene setting of the GSB chapel where they enjoyed a fun, sweet treat -- a catered donut truck and coffee latte vendor -- courtesy of Co-Chairs Emily Kellogg and Michelle Lawse. After a special performance by the Upper School music ensemble, Blue In The Face, Mr. Rowell took to the podium to thank every member of the Parents' Association for another fantastic year of successful events. Mr. Rowell emphasized the wonderful leadership displayed by PA President, Lauren Salko, and invited her to the stage to receive a well-deserved gift.
Mrs. Salko graciously thanked the PA Executive Team, Steering Committee of Chairs, and the full GSB community for a great year while encouraging fellow parents to stay engaged at GSB and to get more involved in the Parents' Association. Mrs. Salko also extended her appreciation to various departments that contributed behind the scenes. The Development Office, Communications Team, IT, and Operations Department all played pivotal roles in making the school year a success. As the event drew to a close, Mrs. Salko shared warm wishes for the upcoming summer break. With the promise of sunny days ahead, parents left the celebration with a sense of fulfillment and anticipation. The Parents’ Association’s commitment to fostering a vibrant school community remains unwavering, and their Year-End Celebration was a fitting tribute to their collective efforts.
