GSB Lower School Ends the 2021-2022 School Year with a Heartfelt Closing Ceremony

Gill St. Bernard’s welcomed family and friends to the Lower School Closing Exercises on Tuesday, June 7, as they honored the Class of 2030’s transition from Lower School to Middle School.

The picture-perfect day began with a lovely processional and welcoming comments from Lower and Middle School Director Kyle Armstrong. Lower School Dean of Student Life Jill Fedon introduced the Class of 2030 during the annual pin ceremony, and Head of School Sid Rowell presented the Amol Ajinkya Citizenship Award, the highest award a lower school student can receive, to Anabel Hercules. Fourth grade students took to the podium to introduce the various speakers, to sing the Fourth Grade Song, and to recite the Kindness Squad Poem.

The event was livestreamed for guests who were not able to attend in-person and is available for viewing.

Please stay tuned for the full gallery of Closing Ceremony photos available through Bedrosian Photo.

Congratulations to the entire Lower School for a wonderful school year, and good luck to the Fourth Grade as they move up to Middle School!
