GSB Juniors Honored at Arts of Respect High School Showcase

Three GSB artists were honored for their creativity and originality at the Arts of Respect High School Showcase at Drew University.

Juniors Caroline Rongen and Sara Rodriguez placed first and third in the 2D Art category, respectively, while junior Maddie Buynak earned second place in the 3D Art category. As part of the showcase, the trio and other students from Studio Art, Portfolio Development, Advanced Digital Media, and Ceramics attended the opening award reception at Drew University in early April. During the event, students had the opportunity to explore other school submissions and discuss their own work with judges to explain their creative process for this year’s showcase theme, “Building Bridges”.

Please join us in congratulating Caroline, Sara, and Maddie on their outstanding accomplishments! GSB families can explore their work and art pieces across all GSB visual art courses at the annual GSB Spring Art Show on May 12 in the SBS Pavillion.
