Blue in the Face Shines at the Joe Show

GSB's Blue in the Face music ensemble hosted an intimate evening dedicated to melody and merriment in the annual Joe Show concert. 

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, over a dozen Upper School musicians, under the direction of GSB Music Director Jack Williams III, treated friends, family, and the audience to a captivating performance at the PACC. Blue in the Face, Gill's multi-genre vocal band, used vocals, piano, guitar, and drums in perform an impressive set list. Songs ranged the full musical gamut from hits such as II Most Wanted by Beyonce and Miley Cyrus, Fly as Me by Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, and Nonsense by Sabrina Carpenter. Beyond showcasing exceptional musical talent, the concert was a vibrant celebration of the students' dedication and hard work throughout the school year.

Williams says proudly, "Blue in the Face put on a beautiful display of talent at this years Joe Show. The passion and excellence shown on stage was unlike any other. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication and to our amazing crowd for showing us so much love and support!"

The 2025 Blue in the Face ensemble featured Josephine Adebambo '25, John Besjak '26, Braelyn Brandl '26, Dani Briones '28, Luc Corrado '26, Nate Costa '26, Aaron Davis '26, Aideen Manning '27, Mira Mayer-Kuckuk '27, Harry Pambianchi '25, Elsa Racine '25, Darya Tahmasebi '25, Mia Tolpa '27, Joel Wagman '26, and Mary Young '25.
