Students Looking Forward to Sibling Day

On November 10, Gill St. Bernard’s School will host its third annual Sibling (and good friends) Day. Students in first grade and higher are invited to bring siblings or close friends to spend the day at Gill as their guests. Each year, Sibling Day coincides with the annual NJEA Teachers’ Convention, so New Jersey public schools will be closed that day.
For GSB families, Sibling Day provides a special opportunity for students to introduce their friends to Gill and to share their daily routine with them. It is also a great way for friends and siblings to experience GSB firsthand. Last year’s Sibling Day drew more than thirty guests to our school and proved fun and educational for all involved.
Talia Licata '24 attended last year as a sibling; this year, she is a fifth-grader at Gill and is looking forward to bringing a friend to school for the day. "I am really excited for my friend to come and see Gill and experience what my days are like here. I love being here, and I want to share it with my friends."
We hope that you will also extend this special invitation to your neighbors and friends in grades one and higher who may want to consider a visit to GSB on November 10. Families can register for Sibling Day on our website. Registration must be completed by Monday, November 7.
Gill St. Bernard’s is a private, coeducational day school for students age three through grade 12, located in suburban New Jersey. Each of the three school divisions provides a vigorous, meaningful and age-appropriate curriculum, and all students benefit from the environmental learning opportunities that exist on our 208-acre campus.
