Tickets are now on sale for the GSB Players' 2016 musical: Sandy Wilson's The Boy Friend. The show opens Thursday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. and runs through Sunday March 6.
Directed by Performing Arts Chair Paul H. Canada, The Boy Friend is a lighthearted spoof of the musicals from the 1920s. Set on the French Riviera, the story centers on Polly, an English heiress, and her quest to find love. Polly's father, however, stands in the way, as he believes that the suitors are only interested in his daughter's fortune. Taking her father's warning to heart, Polly pretends to be poor, a disguise that brings on mistaken identities and other misunderstandings along the bumpy, but ultimately happy, road to love.
Thursday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m.
