GSB Players Earn Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award Nominations for 2015 Musical "Once Upon a Mattress"

Gill St. Bernard's spring musical "Once Upon a Mattress" was recognized with four Nominations as well as three Honorable Mentions in the 2015 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards program.

Through its Honorable Mentions and Nominations, GSB places among the top seven in each category. Honorable Mention was awarded in three separate categories including Outstanding Direction, Outstanding Performance by a Chorus and Outstanding Overall Production. On June 2, the GSB Players will vie for the following final awards at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, N.J.:

Nomination – Outstanding Musical Direction (David and Amy Southerland)
Nomination – Outstanding Scenic Achievement (Paul Canada, Shannon Ludlum '03)
Nomination – Outstanding Costume Achievement (Paul Canada, Beth Holland P '12)
Nomination – Outstanding Hair and Make-up Achievement (Venus Nedd P '06, '09 and Lee Amoroso P '11, '13, '19)
