Don’t miss the Upper School’s spring choir concert tomorrow, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel.
This spring’s concert will feature 16 songs from performers with the women’s ensemble, men’s ensemble, mixed ensemble, concert choir and chamber choir. Several highlights of the evening will include music and lyrics by legendary composers George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers, contemporary folk songs from current bands like Last Bison of Virginia and The Head & The Heart of Seattle, and doo-wop hits such as My Boyfriend’s Back. In addition, audience members will enjoy favorites from the ’60s and ’70s such as Lean on Me and I Feel the Earth Move and, of course, contemporary selections like Imagine Dragons’ It's Time.
The evening will also pay tribute to graduating seniors Kaitlyn Avery, Emma Clayton, Kasey Collins, Katherine Giordano, Henry Holmes, Maxwell Lieblich, Kristin Murtha, Bryce Neville, Kelly Staples and Emilia Williams, and include solos from juniors Alexandra Baker, Katherine Coscia, Jamie Goetchius, Kelsey Guo and Erin Wetzel, as well as sophomore Jessica Torgovnik.
Admission is free and doors will open at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!
