October Voices: Guest Bloggers Kristen Armstrong & Lia Carruthers

With so much going on in the world of books at GSB—two recent author visits on campus, an upcoming book festival this weekend, and a book fair later in the month—we asked our head librarians to guest blog for our division directors this October.

In the Upper School Director’s blog, Kristen Armstrong shares her hope that students will have that feeling of being completely engaged by a good story. In the Lower & Middle School Director’s blog post, Lia Carruthers’ takes a thoughtful look at the value of curiosity.

If you don’t know our librarians—Kristen Armstrong serves as head librarian for the Upper School and Tracey Mueller is the assistant librarian, and Lia Carruthers is the librarian for the Lower and Middle School. All three are outgoing, patient, kind, super helpful and really passionate about books.

Special thanks to Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Carruthers for crafting our October blog posts and to Sue Petrone, Upper School Division Director, and Kyle Armstrong, Lower & Middle School Division Director, for sharing their blogs this month.
