"The Boy Friend" Receives Paper Mill Playhouse Nomination

The Paper Mill Playhouse released its Rising Star nominations this morning, with Paul H. Canada, performing arts chair, and Beth Holland P '12 nominated for outstanding costuming achievement for The Boy Friend. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 7, at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.
Canada has garnered eight Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star awards for Outstanding Costuming Achievement for GSB productions: She Loves Me (2007), The Secret Garden (2008), Kiss Me, Kate (2010), A Little Night Music (2011), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (2012), Little Women, (2013), Godspell (2014) and Once Upon a Mattress (2015). Since 2011, Holland, who served as costume coordinator for The Boy Friend, has been recognized alongside Canada for four of those productions:  A Little Night Music (2011), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (2012), Godspell (2014) and Once Upon a Mattress (2015).
