GSB Players Earn Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award Recognition

Today, Gill St. Bernard's spring musical "Godspell" was recognized with three Final Nominations as well as three Honorable Mentions in the 2014 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards program. 

The winner of 16 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards since 2007—including two for Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical—GSB ranked among the top-seven New Jersey public, independent and parochial schools competing in this year's program. Honorable Mention was awarded to Gill St. Bernard's "Godspell" in three separate categories including Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical, Outstanding Performance by a Chorus and Outstanding Achievement by a Teacher or Outside Director (Paul H. Canada). On June 3, the GSB Players will vie for the following final awards at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, N.J.: 

Final Nomination – Outstanding Scenic Achievement (Paul H. Canada, Kevin Kotch, Laura Ludlum P '01, '03, '05, Shannon Ludlum '03)
Final Nomination – Outstanding Costuming Achievement (Paul H. Canada, Beth Holland P '12)
Final Nomination – Outstanding Hair and Make-up Achievement (Venus Nedd P '06, '09 and Lee Amoroso P '11, '13, '19)
