Last week, Gill held its third-annual SEEDS Day on campus for a day of educational fun in the summer. SEEDS reaches middle school students and strives to nurture their love of learning, critical thinking skills, self-confidence, respect for others and sense of responsibility toward the immediate and larger communities. In total, 48 SEEDS scholars participated in four educational rotations including Farm Animals, Makerspace Challenge/Art Activity, GSB Garden & Beehive, and Outdoor Education.
Thank you to the 24 GSB faculty and staff members who helped make it another fun and successful day! Gill has a longstanding relationship with SEEDS and is proud of the contributions that SEEDS scholars bring to the school community each year.
Now in its 27th year, SEEDS (Scholars, Educators, Excellence, Dedication, Success) offers educational opportunities for highly-motivated students from low-income families, preparing them for entrance into independent middle schools, high schools and selective colleges.
Gill St. Bernard’s is a private, coeducational day school for students age three through grade 12, located in suburban New Jersey. Each of the three school divisions provides a rigorous, meaningful and age-appropriate curriculum, and all students benefit from the environmental learning opportunities that exist on our 208-acre campus.
