Keynote Speaker - Dr. Marsha Maxwell
With extensive strategic, tactical, and operational technology experience, Dr. Marsha Maxwell is a visionary who creates cutting-edge environments and applications, utilizing emerging technologies and neuroscience to amplify educators' impact on students' engagement and foster a culture of innovation within organizations. Her areas of expertise encompass augmented analytics, immersive experiences, artificial intelligence, machine learning, STEAM programs, and cybersecurity advocacy. Marsha is particularly passionate about promoting STEM/STEAM initiatives, especially for underserved and underrepresented groups, from kindergarten through university and beyond. She has been a distinguished speaker at numerous educational summits and workshops hosted by renowned organizations such as Microsoft, Apple, and Google, showcasing her expertise in education technology, innovation leadership, strategic analysis, decision-making, and promoting equity and inclusion in the realm of technology.
Code of Conduct
Attendance: Participants are expected to attend the full Summit. This includes the keynote presentation as well as the two discussion sessions and closing.
Use of Electronic Devices: Access to the Summit’s Agenda and other important documents will be accessible by QR Code. We ask that cell phones be used only between sessions and after lunch.
Dress Code: Students are expected to be appropriately dressed. Please refrain from wearing revealing clothing or items with inappropriate words or logos. The expectation is that all clothing is based on common sense, moderation, and respect for self and others.
Personal Conduct: The Summit organizers will not tolerate verbal or physical behavior that constitutes bullying (including cyberbullying), discrimination, or harassment. The expectation is that participants maintain and model the highest standards of conduct, respect, and integrity.
Recording: Participants are prohibited from recording or broadcasting any part of the Summit program and any other participants or individuals participating in the Summit program.
Acceptable Use: Students are expected to adhere to their school’s Acceptable Use policy regarding use of computers and other electronic devices.
Community Conversation Norms

Asking questions can help you gain a deeper perspective, but please refrain from any personal criticisms or judgments.

GOALS OF THE SUMMIT:
- Students will define leadership in a changing world.
- Students will practice civil discourse skills.
- Students will consider new ideas to help foster inclusiveness within their school communities.
- Students will engage in a safe space to exhibit self-awareness, confidence, cultural pride, and social identities.
- Students will develop critical thought around ways young people can affect change in their school communities.
- Students will identify critical issues in their school communities and develop skills needed to amplify their thoughts and ideas.
