Golf
The GSB Golf Program recent run of success has helped the team emerge as a top team in the state.
Playing at some of the most pristine courses in the Northeast, the Knights have earned numerous team accolades including six Skyland Conference Division titles (2009-2011, 2013, 2018-19), one Somerset County Championship (2021), and a Non-Public B State Title (2023). On an individual level, the team has had several players collect postseason awards and continue their playing careers at the collegiate level. The team proudly represents a Co-Ed roster at the Varsity and JV levels.

Coach Wiater
Coach Wiater took over the GSB Golf Program in 2024. Wiater played collegiate Golf at Misericodria University where he and his teammates hold the record for the second lowest team total score in school history.
Coach Wiater's coaching philosophy centers on teaching athletes to play to their ability while emphaizing course management through strategic decision making. He believes golf is the most challenging sport there is and feels a great sense of pride in helping players put in the work to improve their play.
Wiater earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Misericordia University. In addition to his role at Gill, he has served as the Varsity Basketball Coach at South Amboy HS since 2018.
