Boys' Indoor Track & Field
The boys’ Indoor Track and Field team has a strong tradition at Gill.
In recent years, the program has claimed three Prep B Championships (2003, 2007, 2014) against some of the top teams in the state. In addition to their team success, the Knights have also boasted several standout student-athletes who have earned All-Conference, All-Prep, All-State, Athlete of the Year, and All-American honors.

Coach LaBarre
With over 25 years coaching experience at Gill St. Bernard's, Coach Shelly LaBarre brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Track & Field program.
LaBarre has helped the program become one of the top teams in the state. Her boys’ teams were crowned New Jersey Prep B Champions in 2003, 2007 and 2014. She has also had countless athletes from both the boys' and girls' squads win individual Prep B, Non-Public B and county titles, with many more going on to compete in the NCAA.
"I am a very easy-going and approachable coach," says LaBarre. "I want my athletes to work hard and to see success, and I love helping them achieve that. With their dedication and commitment and with my creativity and passion, we can accomplish great things."
LaBarre was a standout athlete prior to coaching the sport. She competed at the Division II level while attending East Stroudsburg University. While there, she was selected to all-conference and All-East teams in the 200 meter and 300 meter sprints. She also held three school records in sprinting events and served as captain her junior and senior years.
