The GSB Athlete Performance Program is designed to enhance an athlete's performance on the field, court, and track.

By utilizing premier facilities and individual athlete data, GSB athletic trainers work with student athletes to teach proper technique and build customized, sports-specific programs that improves speed, strength, power, mobility, endurance, and injury prevention.

About The Program

Teams and athletes are evaluated through a battery of fitness tests to determine individual benchmarks, including Vertical Jump, 10/20/40 Yard Sprints, The 5/10/5 Shuttle, Broad Jump, 200-Yard Run, Bench Press, Pull Ups, Deadlift, and Squat. GSB's Athletic Trainers then use athlete data to customize programming through the software platform, Train Heroic.

Athletes use the Train Heroic app platform to complete workouts, find video on exercises, enter testing numbers, and track their daily progress. Train Heroic is currently being used by The Cleveland Cavaliers, Villanova University, USA Weightlifting, Sorinex, and The Parisi Speed School.
