The NJSIAA has issued guideline for Return to Play Phase I, for high school athletics in New Jersey, beginning July 13, 2020.
Athletics at GSB
Gill St. Bernard's School has a proud tradition of athletic excellence throughout its history. Athletics play an integral part of the overall educational experience of our students, reinforcing our core values of courage, integrity, respect, compassion, and excellence through competition, practice, and team-play. During these times of social distancing, our coaches and staff remain committed to the overall health and development of our student-athletes, and we eagerly await their return to the playing fields.
At GSB, our athletes are ambassadors of the school, expected to conduct themselves with honor, integrity, and sportsmanship at all times.
Director of Athletics: Willard Taylor
Taylor brings more than 25 years of experience as a teacher, coach and administrator to Gill. A Division III, two-time, All-American in wrestling while attending Upsala College, Taylor has also coached wrestling, football, baseball and softball. He brings a high level of passion and commitment to school athletics and looks to build the teams at GSB while enhancing the athletes’ overall experience.
Gill St. Bernard’s is a private, coeducational day school for students age three through grade 12, located in suburban New Jersey.
