NCAA Division I - Highest level of competition at the collegiate level. Most Athletic Powers, Most Athletic Scholarships, Most Rules, Scholarship athletes sign an institutional athletic financial aid agreement. Must have Academic and Amateurism Certification with the NCAA.
NCAA Division II - Smaller budgets, Less Athletic Scholarships, Fewer Rules, Scholarship athletes sign an institutional athletic financial aid agreement. Must have Academic and Amateurism Certification with the NCAA.
NCAA Division III - Academics is a priority, No Athletic Scholarships, No Recruiting Calendars, Scholarship athletes do not sign an institutional athletic financial aid agreement. Athletes do NOT need to be certified with the NCAA.
