Discover GSB

From the Comfort of Your Home

GSB is an independent, non-sectarian, college-preparatory day school serving approximately 630 students age three through grade 12. We offer a comprehensive and balanced curriculum, and we instill in our students the values of courage, respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence.
As we adjust to the outbreak of COVID-19 and engage in distance learning, while our campus is closed, our school and our community remain open. It is alive and vibrant, and our resolve for teaching and learning is steadfast. While transitioning from face-to-face to virtual instruction brings some challenges and opportunities, our commitment to the health, well-being, and growth of every student in our community is unwavering.
Quite simply, this is a school community like no other. We provide boundless opportunities for every one of our students, in every step of their journey, to build exceptional academic skills and discover their own unique untapped talents and interests. While classes and classrooms look different and are located far and wide, the essence of the community remains one of support, guidance, and focus. The possibilities are endless.

While the campus is closed, Gill is still open, and we look forward to connecting personally with you, answering your questions, and sharing more detailed information about our exceptional program. Applying is easy. If you have questions, please contact our office for help via email or by phone at 908-234-1611, ext. 245We look forward to getting to know and working with your family throughout the application process.

Meet Jack Lowe '15

Reflecting on his four years at GSB, Lowe believes the small class sizes and the strong sense of community helped him to take on leadership roles and to appreciate the value of service. “I would stand up in front of the Upper School every Monday at assembly and talk about HERO,” he says, adding “I felt that the things we did at Gill mattered; they had an impact. The school provided a lot of opportunities to affect visible change on the campus and in the larger community.”
