Gill St. Bernard's School
It’s the difference between being challenged and being pushed, the difference between healthy competition and a win-at-any-cost attitude, the difference between exploring your interests and ticking off boxes for a college application. It’s balance, and it matters.
We believe that the pursuit of knowledge has intrinsic rewards. Our community of learners value the contributions, perspectives, and talents that each student and faculty member bring to campus.
Athletics play an integral part of the overall educational experience of our students, reinforcing our core values of courage, integrity, respect, compassion, and excellence through competition, practice, and team-play.
The arts at GSB enrich the student experience and the life of the school. The arts promote courageous exploration, self-awareness, and cultural literacy as students are encouraged to take creative risks, to discover their passions, and to present their work before an audience.
With our farm and garden as backdrops, teachers find abundant ways to challenge students to think critically about the environment and the relationship between the school and the larger community.
Guided by our mission, core values, and protocols for health & safety, GSB's plans for the academic year include preparing us to meet the learning needs of our students and purposefully creating opportunities for them to discover their passions.
Each of our three divisions provide a rigorous, meaningful, and developmentally-appropriate curriculum, and all students benefit from the environmental learning on our 208-acre campus.
