SAT and ACT Prep

Educators agree that taking challenging courses in high school is one of the best ways to prepare for college.  Reading and writing analytically is another way.  And it is also true that a careful study of standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT reveals a pattern of question types for which students can and should prepare.  Our course instructs students in the strategies necessary to approach each skill area which we have determined from a careful review of previously administered tests and materials.
Areas of study covered: Writing, Essay, Vocabulary, Critical Reading, Math, and Science Reasoning

Fall Session
Begins Wednesday, September 15th from 6-9 pm and runs through November 3rd. 
Practice diagnostic tests:
            SAT  - Saturday 9/18/2010 at 9 am and Saturday 10/30/2010 at 9 am
            ACT  - Saturday 9/25/2010 at 9 am  and 11/13/2010 at 9am
           
All classes and practice tests take place in Hockenbury 309.
Students who have taken the Spring session are welcome to return for classes and/or the practice tests.
