Interviews
Although many schools do not require interviews, they can be helpful in your application. The best general advice is to relax, be friendly and look at people when you talk to them. More specifically…
- Be on time.
- Prepare for the interview. Read about the college and have questions that go beyond the information in the catalog.
- Bring a copy of your transcript.
- Dress comfortably but neatly.
- After the interview, follow-up with a note to thank your interviewer.
Frequently asked questions by the interviewer.
- How would you describe yourself? List 3 words to describe yourself.
- Why do you want to come to this school?
- Aside from class requirements what book have you recently read and enjoyed? Why?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What do you feel you can contribute to the school?
