Although many schools do not require interviews, they can be helpful in your application. The best general advice is to relax, be friendly and look at people when you talk to them. More specifically…

• Prepare for the interview. Read about the college and have questions that go beyond the information in the catalog.
• Bring a copy of your transcript.
• Dress comfortably but neatly.
