Auction/Dinner Dance 2010
The GSB Auction/Dinner Dance held in the spring is an annual event run by GSB parents in conjunction with the Development Office. The proceeds from the auction benefit student programs, faculty professional development, and other general operating expenses for Gill St. Bernard’s School. This is the largest fundraising event of the year. This year the Auction Gala, “Lights, Camera, Auction!” will be held at Hamilton Farm Golf Club on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
The evening includes a silent auction, live auction, a 50-50 raffle, bidding on special art projects created by the children in the Lower School, and a quilt based on the artwork of students in the Middle School.
There are various ways to support the Auction, from giving your time, to helping organize the event, to donating Auction items. New this year, the silent auction committee has joined an online registry, www.myregistry.com where you can purchase items to donate to the Auction. You can access this website directly or through the GSB internet or intranet. Every donation is important. The silent auction committee will combine all items into fabulous baskets that will be bid on the night of the Auction!
Sponsorships for special features of the evening are available to families and local businesses. Sponsorships underwrite the costs of the music, invitations and/or live auction items. Below are the sponsorship levels available this year.
Sponsorship Levels
Oscar Award: $5,000 and up
Golden Globe Award: $4000-$4,999
Emmy Award: $3000-$3,999
People’s Choice: $2,000-$2,999
Supporting Cast: $1 - $1999
