Senior Daisha Simmons scores 2,000th career point

With a free throw in the first quarter of a 51-30 win over Rutgers Prep on Friday January 8, Daisha Simmons became only the second girls basketball player in Somerset County history to score 2,000 points in her high school career.  The senior will attend Rutgers University next year and Rutgers coach C. Vivian Stringer and assistant Tasha Pointer  were on hand for the historic event.
