The Campaign for Gill St. Bernard’s School

Gill St. Bernard’s School is in the midst of a Comprehensive Campaign to raise funds for the school.  In addition to continuing to increase the critical support of the operations of the school through the Annual Fund, and continuing to grow the endowment of the school, as part of this campaign, the primary focus is building a new Upper School Academic Center.

The Upper School has demonstrated it can and does compete with the finest independent schools in the area for the most sought-after high school students. This division has seen measurable increases in AP and honors courses, test scores, academic awards, and extracurricular offerings, as well as local, regional and national success.

The academic changes that have taken place in the Upper School, and the need to accommodate its planned growth, mandated the construction of a new signature academic building for this division. This building will include a larger, more comprehensive library, expanded technology space, 12 classrooms, and student common areas. These accommodations will help to ensure that the momentum the school has gained over the last several years continues, while allowing us to maintain the individualized attention and the small class size that is critical to our educational mission.

It has been a successful effort thus far but the challenge continues.  In addition to this wonderful new facility there are many ideas, projects, and programs the school continues to develop and support.  Please become a part of the numerous families and friends who share in the excitement and support the effort of making Gill St. Bernard’s School a wonderful learning environment.

Checks, made payable to Gill St. Bernard's School, can be mailed directly to the Development Office, St. Bernard's Road, PO Box 604, Gladstone, NJ 07934. You may also visit the secure on-line gift form to make a credit card gift or pledge.

MATCHING GIFTS
Does your employer match donations to schools? Your gift can be doubled or tripled in value through your or your spouse's company. Please send a matching gift form with your check and help GSB take advantage of your company's generosity. Matching gift forms are available through your company's personnel or human resource office.

HOW TO MAKE A GIFT OF STOCK
Gifts of appreciated securities provide an opportunity to benefit Gill St. Bernard's with advantageous tax consequences for you. To make a gift of securities or for more information, please call the Development Office at (908) 234-1611 ext. 205 to let us know of your gift intention. Your call will ensure that your gift is transferred and credited properly.
When calling, please provide us with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Name of the security being gifted
  • Number of shares
  • The gift is complete when the stock is transferred to the Gill St. Bernard's School account.
